Everyone knows prevention is better than cure.
I believe that the message of not using ear buds is the most important of all ear care tips.Next is preventing water entering the ear especially dirty water..I have met people who as a routine wash their ear canal or shall I say flush their ear canal with water to clean it!!!This is really not required...
Next step especially in children is treating colds & upper respiratory tract infections.If a child has ear pain following colds-he may be having an ear infection.
In adults some preventable tips are about loud noise exposure & ototoxic drugs.Avoid listening to loud music & use protection if working in an industry with loud noise exposure.
